On Day 3 of the 1st #RaiseTheBat Test Series against West Indies in The Ageas Bowl, England captain Ben Stokes rallied his side with four wickets, but the people were able to depart the area with an exceptional 99-run lead. But, Ben Stokes has become the second-fastest cricketer to attain the Test double of 4000 runs and 150 wickets. He reached the landmark following his third dismissal from the innings of Alzarri Joseph.

Together with the dismissal of Joseph, Stokes combined former England all-rounder Ian Botham and four other greats of the game at the heart of 4000 Evaluation runs and 150-plus Test wickets. Just Sobers attained the landmark faster (63 Tests) compared to Stokes (64). Stokes, who previously appeared to be fighting with soreness as he worked through his critical final bout, accounted for top-scorers Kraigg Brathwaite (65) and Shane Dowrich (61) in addition to his fellow all-rounder and rival skipper Jason Holder. While Stokes was not able to match Holder’s previous attempts with a five-wicket drag. The dismissal of Joseph failed to deliver his Test tally to 150.
