Steve Smith: Shadab Khan, the Youthful Pakistan leg-spinner, does Not Want to be in Comparison with Steve Smith, the Australian batsman. Shadab recently plied his trade for its Islamabad United, who’ve already been removed from the 2020 variant of this Pakistan Super League (PSL). In the championship, the 21-year-old Shadab thrived much more as a batsman than as a bowler. In nine matches, the leggie could only afford eight wickets in a market of 8.24. But together with the bat in hand, he also stopped among the primary run-scorers of this T20 league. Shadab handled a substantial 263 runs in a mean of 37.57 with three half-centuries to his title.

The latter began his profession as a leg-spinner before changing to a world-class batsman. But, Shadab believes that it is way too early for him to be about ICC’s number one ranked Test batsman. “I don’t believe I could be contrasted to him (Smith), who’s a legend. I’m nowhere close to him. It’s too early to compare me with anybody,” Shadab was quoted as stating from Geo Super. Speaking about his bad show with all the ball, Khan reported that the conditions were not conducive to spin bowling. “I’m nevertheless an all-rounder and that I will stay one. I could not take many wickets here since the terms weren’t supportive for spinners,” Shadab explained. At the PSL, Shadab encouraged himself up the sequence and even proceeded to bat at number three. However, he does not want to mess his thoughts about his batting place from the national group, stating that the captain and mentor will be carrying a telephone on it. “Up to my batting place is concerned [from the national teams]I am all set to have a go at any given position in line with the necessity of the group. My batting place is left up to the captain and coach,” he said. Instead, he wants to concentrate on becoming more wickets for his group. “I’m not even considering such a thing at this instant. I’m focused on my operation and contributing to my group,” Khan added. Follow us  Facebook
