Recently on 18 April 2019, Pakistan Cricket selection committee announced the squad for ICC Men’s Cricket World cup 2019. The selectors committee named the 15 players squad including 2 additional players for World cup 2019.

- Muhammad Hussnain, who is a rising talent is selected for the world cup. Muhammad Hussnain bowled at 150 km/h in PSL. He was selected by Quetta Gladiators and is now included in World Cup Squad.
- Muhammad Amir, who played an important role in the final of champion trophy 2017 in England & Wales, is not selected fot the world cup squad. The reason behind this is that he was not performing well. Still, selectors have selected him for ODI & T20I series against England to give him a chance.
