Karachi Kings began the PSL 5 by rolling last year’s runners-up Peshawar Zalmi by ten runs. However, their journey then has not been a nice one. Imad Wasim and Co are placed fifth in the points table with 2 points from three matches following heavy losses from Quetta Gladiators and table-toppers Multan Sultans. The Kings are scheduled to lock horns with the Islamabad United.
The simple fact they’ve played with the least number of matches gives them some breather. Shadab Khan’s United, on the other hand, has moved into third after their abandoned game against the Zalmi. Another success can help them ditch the Gladiators into the next place. In their past seven encounters, Islamabad has come out six times.
Pitch and Conditions
The first two games in Rawalpindi were influenced by rain. However, the predictions for Sunday does not have rain forecasts. The conditions will probably be combined with temperatures around 16 degrees Celsius. The humidity will be from the 60s and 70s. The pitch is expected to be good for batting and will probably be remaining true throughout the day. Chasing ought to be the way ahead after winning the toss.
The United batting is in form type. Dawid Malan is their top run-getter with 131 runs. Colin Ingram and Luke Ronchi also have touched the 100-run barrier and therefore are in a reasonably good rhythm. Shadab Khan boosting himself has proven to be a masterstroke since he’s 99 runs, averaging 33.
PSL 5
The United captain has blown a bit cold and hot with the ball, however. Munro, Asif Ali, and the rest must demonstrate a little more consistency. Fast bowler Muhammad Musa has not flattered to fool. Akif Javed has bowled well so far.

Alex Hales, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imad Wasim, and Cameron Delport have scores from the 50s and 60s. However, they will need to provide if Babar fails a while.
