PSL 5: Match 21th: Quetta that batted first were confined to only 98/9 from the 20 overs. They had been reduced to 21/6 after the powerplay since Samit Patel maintained a 4-wicket haul by giving off just five runs from 4 overs. Sohail scored 32 off 35 balls to shoot his group near the 100-run mark. The Lahore Qalandars dropped two or three early wickets but chased the goal in just 11.5 overs.

49 — Lahore Qalandars won the match with 49 deliveries to spare; the 2nd most massive win when it comes to balls to save for almost any group from the Pakistan Super League. The Peshawar Zalmi chased the goal of 79 from the other variant with 59 balls to spare contrary to the Qalandars.
Their past worst losing streak from the PSL has been three successive beats throughout the 2018 version.
3 — Quetta lost all the previous three games in the PSL from the Lahore Qalandars. Earlier this series, the Gladiators won five of those seven games in the league from Qalandars.
