Ramiz Raja Calls on Imran Khan to Punish Match Fixers

Following the ban of Umar Akmal’s, former captain Ramiz Raja. He has commended Prime Minister Imran Khan to take the step of corrupt practices in Pakistan cricket.
The 57-year-old believes that severe legislation to pledge with corrupt cricketers is the need of the hour. And he has appealed the premier to pass a bill in the parliament to deal with such incidents.
He further said that all those who involved in spot-fixing or any other illegal activity must get uniform punishment.
Cricket is the thing that combines the people of Pakistan, and no one should allow it to soil it.

The cricketer-turned-commentator also said that Pakistan should follow countries like New Zealand where guilty players are not allowed to represent their country again. Talking about Umar Akmal, he said that he feels no sympathy towards him.
