Twitter Reaction: Quetta Gladiators Enroll a consolation win over Karachi Kings to Finish PSL Effort on a high

Quetta Gladiators: It was the last league phase match of the 2020 variant of this PSL. On the other hand, the best four were fixed unless there was a wonder in-store by Quetta Gladiators. They had to win from 148 runs or complete the chase within three overs whenever they batted second. That did not happen, but they did figure out how to secure a consolation win and prevented the wooden spoon. Karachi Kings chose to bat for a shift. It had been Naseem Shah, who gave Quetta Gladiators a dream start when he pumped over Sharjeel Khan off only the second chunk of the match. Iftikhar Ahmed walked and scored a fluent 21 before leaving, which left Karachi in 30/2. That is when Cameron Delport walked.

He also stitched a 42-run stand with Babar Azam, who seemed out of sorts; however, Delport had been the aggressor and did a lot of the scoring. Azam’s battle came to a finish in the 12th over. Chadwick Walton affirmed Delport well along with the duo additional 73 for the fourth wicket. It was this venture that places Karachi on track for an adequate score. Delport scored 62 off 44 balls that included five fours and two sixes. Finally, they finished on 150/5 after 20 overs.
