Sharjeel Khan and Babar Azam: The three-match winning series of Lahore Qalandars has come back down and come to a finish. Karachi Kings came up with a clinical operation to the Lahore side. Combined bowling campaign from Karachi Kings maintain Lahore Qalandars into 150. After being put in to bat, Lahore Qalandars got off to a good start. Skipper Sohail Akhtar appeared in Fantastic touch alongside Fakhar Zaman. But soon after a wicketless powerplay, the Qalandars dropped Zaman. However, Akhtar continued on his merry way. He dressed little partnerships together with the middle order and notched his next half-century of this year. But when Akhtar dropped for 68 from the 15th over (five balls to proceed ), the score read 108/4.

However, Lahore Qalandars could not use the stage place as they stumbled on 150/5 regardless of Mohammad Hafeez’s 22-ball 35.

Chasing a comparatively under par total, Karachi Kings began dominantly. The openers Sharjeel Khan and Babar Azam appeared healthy and always found the border alongside a high rotation of attack. They scored 52 runs at the powerplay to be on track for its chase. Even following the powerplay, Karachi Kings continued to place away bowlers and plunder runs. It had been Azam who had been leading the way in the top before Sharjeel caught up together eventually, went beyond him well. Not one of those Lahore Qalandars bowlers appeared just like picking up a wicket or threatened to take a wicket. Together with Dilbar Hussain and, to an extent David Wiese, all of the other bowlers leaked many runs. However, Azam and Sharjeel got enormous scores since they led Karachi Kings into some 10-wicket triumph and also 17 balls remaining. This triumph now propels the Karachi Kings into the next place on the points table with nine points. They have two games to go, and yet another win for them may too seal a spot in the playoffs. The destiny of Lahore Qalandars currently depends on other outcomes given they win their final league encounter against Multan Sultans.
